URBAN OASIS - Sponsored by Surrey Hills Arts and funded by Reclaim Network Plus was originally created for RHS Hampton Court Garden Festival 2023 and displayed in the Go Wild area for the duration of the event. The piece have been waiting for its definite location since then and will finally find its permanent site together with two more sculptural habitats in the grounds at Watts Gallery-Artists’ Village, Guildford.

The piece is made of up-cycled concrete cores, mild steel, moss and plants, the purpose of the artwork is to attract snails, the base of the food chain for a few birds’ species including the Song Thrush.
